7" Glasspunk Collages
Quite often I think about reinventing how I look at stained glass, always trying new ideas. Recently I've been exploring
Steampunk art and thinking how I might push my stained glass in that direction by using more recycled items in my work.
I like going to flea markets to see what treasures might eventually find their way into my designs. Recycling at the art level!
Because I've added brass charms, sea shells, beach stones, porcelain plate fragments and other opaque items to these collages I found that they need to be placed in a balanced light area such as in an open room divider, porch or solarium.
If placed in a window where the light is much stronger on the outside it causes the opaque items to appear as silhouettes.
Each 7" Glasspunk Collage is a unique one of a kind design.
