You can spend an entire day exploring an art festival and the towns that host them. The festivals provide art
and entertainment while the towns provide restaurants, antique shops, boutiques, book stores and a bit of history.
A day at an art festival.
Spend a relaxing day with a friend walking the grounds of an art festival, it's fun and you won't even notice you are actually getting in some exercise. Shows in the towns of Bath and Bridgton provide entertainment in the form of music throughout the day. The town of Brunswick goes all out and turns parts of Main Street into a pedestrian mall with roving musicians, bands, dancers, mimes, jugglers, lyric poets and of course, arts and crafts people selling their wares. Since you never know what surprises await you it's always a good idea to bring your camera!
So come see what all the creative people have been up to over
the winter months and just maybe you will find that special something for a friend or even yourself and at the same time help support the arts.
Hope to see you at one of my shows!
